Due to the current issues of Coronavirus we are currently not offering face to face appointments. This is to limit the spread of the virus and to keep GP's, clinicians, staff and patients safe. We will also not be offering any pre-bookable appointments or online bookings. Patients can still call at 8am as usual and will be booked in for a telephone consultation instead.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation during this time. Please remember to stay safe, wash hands regularly and also look after those who may be self isolating / elderly whilst not putting yourself at risk.

The local council have set up a Covid-19 walk-in test centre on the Issa Medical Centre car park. The testing centre is open Monday - Sunday between 10am - 3pm. No appointment necessary however it is for those who have NO Coronavirus symptoms (continuous cough, high temperature or loss of smell / taste) If you do have any of these symptoms please DO NOT attend the walk-in test centre. Instead please book a test via the government website or by calling 119. The centre is run by the council and NOT by Issa Medical Centre. Your results will come back to you directly and not to the surgery.

Over the last 12 months we have been raising money for the QK70 fund in memory of Dr Khan. In the last year we have raised a massive £800 which has been split between The Foxton Centre and the Preston Domestic Violence Service. We also collected and donated to The Salvation Army in December ready for their Christmas parcels. On behalf of Issa Medical Centre and Dr Khan's family we would like to thank you for all your support and contributions over the year and we are looking forward to raising money again in the near future!!

Each year The Rotary Club of Preston hand out the prestigious Sir Tom Finney Award to an individual, who is not a club member, who has made a significant contribution to the charitable work of the Rotary Club Preston. This year our very own Dr Zakir Patel was presented the award;  it was stated that Dr Patel has provided considerable support to the club over a number of years and that they were pleased to be able to recognise his support and the charitable services he has provided. The award was presented by Rotarian and our Senior Practice Manager Sharon Riley.

There is now a new dedicated line for all requests and medication queries. Please contact us on: 01772 237615 from Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
