Campaign Overview
Campaign Name: Check it, don’t chance it. Listen to your body – Act Now on Cancer Objective: Encourage early presentation of cancer symptoms by promoting awareness of key signs and urging people to see their GP if symptoms persist. Duration: Launching with a burst of activity between 12th January 2026 – 9th March 2026, the campaign will run for the 3 months. Target Audience: Adults in Lancashire and South Cumbria; people who tend to delay presentation or assume symptoms aren’t serious; underserved communities and high-inequality neighbourhoods.

Campaign Assets
We have worked with a behavioural change organisation, Magpie to produce a range of asset that can be used to promote this campaign. These can be used to engage with your colleagues and networks. Please include items in your newsletter, share and post these messages on your social media channels, put posters up on noticeboards. Indeed, please do anything you can to share the messages!
